The Temple of Karnak was believed to be the spot where creation began. They also believed it was a point of interaction between the god Amun-Ra and Egyptians. It dates from around 2055 BC to around 100 AD. It was dedicated to the god Amun, his wife Mut and son Khonsu. It is the largest religious building ever constructed.
